This shielded active optical fiber cable supports the full bandwidth of USB 3.2 Gen 2 and can be used to extend all USB 3.2 Gen 2 products. The cable is rated SuperSpeed and carries up to 10 Gbps.
It is conveniently port-powered and does not utilize any repeater hubs, making it easier to install through conduits. The cable is rugged, flexible and is thinner and lighter than conventional copper cables.
This USB cable is plug and play and requires no drivers – ideal for most Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) environments. It is compatible with IntelliSHOT, ConferenceSHOT and RoboSHOT cameras and other USB 3.0 conferencing devices like our AV Bridge Mini, AV Bridge 2×1, and AV Bridge MatrixMIX.
Its unique composite design is resistant to EMI/RFI interference and is CMP plenum-rated.
Please note this cable does not carry enough power to charge most USB endpoints and is intended for transporting high quality video and audio signals. This cable is backwards compatible with signals less than USB 3.0 including USB 2.0.
