The DS552LT6-2 is a 55-inch ultra-high bright professional LCD. With a maximum brightness rating of 6000 nits, this display features a local dimming LED backlight technique for incredible, high contrast picture quality and low power consumption.
The DS552LT6-2 features a 10.9 mm bezel width, perfect for video wall applications in bright environments. Designed for use in direct sunlight, the specially designed LCD panel prevents “blackening defect”.
Product Features | Sunlight Viewable
Designed for applications in bright environments such as storefront windows, the DS552LT5-2 features a high brightness LED backlight producing a 6000 nits direct sunlight-viewable image.
Built-in Media Player
An integrated Android™ based media player with WiFi offers users the freedom to select from the array of various media software solutions on the market or use the bundled DynaScan DSM365 application for local video playback, playlist creation, and content scheduling.
LED Backlit with Local Dimming
The display features a local dimming LED back light technique for a remarkably high contrast picture. With direct local dimming, darker areas of an image receive less backlighting than lighter areas, as opposed to edge-lit LED backlights which illuminate an entire screen at all times causing blacks and dark areas to appear washed out.
TrueColor™ Calibrated
Each screen is individually color calibrated to the D65 (6500K) CIE color standard. Not only does this produce a true, natural white, but also accurately reproduces brand colors, skin tones, and colorways.
Blackening Defect Free
Most residential and commercial screens will blacken or result in isotropic failure when the LCD panel overheats. The DS552LT6-2 is equipped with a high-temperature LCD panel capable of withstanding temperatures up to 110°C (230°F) without blackening – crucial for direct sunlight applications.
Auto Brightness Control
Different external lighting conditions require different brightness levels. An onboard light sensor measures the ambient light in the area and automatically adjusts the image accordingly.
