The ioSafe Duo is a 2-bay RAID direct attached storage (DAS) system that instantly creates redundant copies of your data–all while shielding that data from fire and water.
Like other ioSafe products, the Duo uses patented fireproof and waterproof technology to create the fastest way for you to be back in action after a catastrophe.
Our mission is to help you protect your data so the ioSafe Duo is configured as a redundant RAID 1 device. However, you can easily reconfigure Duo as a RAID 0, JBOD, or SPAN storage device should you choose to forgo redundancy and have all of your disk capacity usable for data storage.
With the 0TB diskless version, you provide and install your own hard drives. (The ioSafe Data Recovery Service does not apply to the 0TB/diskless system; to take advantage of this comprehensive service, choose an ioSafe Duo with factory-installed hard drives.)
