The ioSafe Duo is a 2-bay RAID direct attached storage (DAS) system that instantly creates redundant copies of your data–all while shielding that data from fire and water.
Like other ioSafe products, the Duo uses patented fireproof and waterproof technology to create the fastest way for you to be back in action after a catastrophe.
Our mission is to help you protect your data so the ioSafe Duo is configured as a redundant RAID 1 device. (The 8TB version creates two copies of 4TB usable storage.) However, you can easily reconfigure Duo as a RAID 0, JBOD, or SPAN storage device should you choose to forgo redundancy and have all 8TB usable for data storage.
This 8TB configuration includes two years of the comprehensive ioSafe Data Recovery Service, which helps you recover your data after your device has been subjected to damage from fire, water, or hard drive crash.
